THE QUESTION...?

He was desperate and hopeful

Of having an opportunity to speak with her,

The effulgent wealthy girl.

He explored all the circumstances possible

To express his stance.

She did not seem to mind him

Despite knowing that he was to ask her something.

He saw her often

and stole many a furtive glances at her.

But hesitant, he bowed his head,

When she looked at him. 

However hard she tried to ignore him,

It was his requisite to ask her.

Eventually, struggling for words,

He asked her to give the remaining cash 

For her purchase of a new handbag,

Which she bought the previous week,

And totally forgot...!
